The casings do not have an opening at roof level, so it is not suitable with the chimney option . It is possible for you to drill the casing upon receipt or not to glue the fireplace during assembly in order to remove it when you position the casing on the bed.
The dressing should not be put in the washing machine, even when cold , otherwise there is a risk of shrinkage of 4 to 8%. No returns will be accepted .
